YOUR PICTURE STAYS YOURS

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

This policy explains how Rasterbator Online (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use rasterbatoronline.com. For privacy questions or requests, email support@rasterbatoronline.com.

Images and generated PDFs

The poster maker processes selected images and creates PDFs in your browser. We do not upload your image files to our servers, store them in an account, or receive the PDFs you generate. Closing or refreshing the editing page clears the current project. Downloaded files remain on your device until you delete them. Example pictures are ordinary website assets; using one does not upload a file from your device.

Images imported from a URL

Your browser requests a linked image directly from its host and any redirect destination. That host can receive your IP address, the requested URL and technical request information. The import omits cookies and referrer information. We do not proxy the image or keep an import history. Image hosts have their own privacy practices and may block imports.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser information, requested page URLs, request times and security or error events. These requests are separate from the image selected in the poster maker. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the website and to improve it. It may process page views, on-site interactions, browser and device information, approximate location and cookie identifiers. Google uses IP addresses during collection to derive location information; Google says GA4 does not log or store those IP addresses.

Analytics is separate from image processing. We do not provide your selected image content or generated PDFs to Analytics. Google’s processing and retention depend on the service and applicable settings; we retain access to analytics information only as needed to understand and improve the website.

Google AdSense and advertising

We use Google AdSense to help support the free tool. Google and its advertising partners may collect, use and share information to deliver ads, personalize them where permitted, measure performance, limit repeated ads and prevent fraud. This can involve cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers. As a result of advertising on this website, third parties may place or read cookies in your browser or use web beacons and IP addresses to collect information.

Read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s privacy policy. Advertising and analytics do not require uploading your picture to the poster maker’s servers.

Cookies, consent and your choices

The poster maker does not use browser storage to save your pictures or poster settings. Hosting, consent, analytics and advertising services may use cookies or similar technologies for their own purposes. Fonts and example pictures are served with the website.

Where consent is required, the applicable privacy message provides choices about the relevant services and partners. If a message is shown, use its options to manage consent or change your choices where a settings or withdrawal option is provided. A privacy policy describes data use; reading it or continuing to browse does not by itself provide consent for optional cookies where consent is required.

You can manage Google ad personalization through My Ad Center, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or block and delete cookies in your browser. Turning off personalized ads does not necessarily stop other ads or all advertising-related processing. The poster maker’s image processing does not depend on accepting optional advertising or analytics cookies.

Support messages, sharing and retention

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer you and investigate problems. Describe the issue first and avoid sending sensitive images or personal documents. We keep correspondence only as needed for support, follow-up and applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your selected images or generated PDFs. Hosting, email, analytics and advertising providers process information relevant to their services. Advertising-related sharing of identifiers may be treated as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising under some laws; applicable privacy messages provide relevant choices. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect the service and others.

Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Their policies describe applicable processing and transfer safeguards. We do not promise that all website-related data stays in your country.

Your rights and children’s privacy

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or obtain a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, object to processing, opt out of certain advertising uses, or complain to a data protection authority. Email us to make a request; we may need information to verify it. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights. We cannot retrieve a project that existed only in your browser.

This is a general-purpose tool, not a service directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Parents, guardians and teachers should supervise use as appropriate. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information so we can review and remove it where required.

External websites and changes

External websites have their own privacy practices. We update this policy when our practices change and revise the date above. Where a change requires new consent, it must be obtained through the relevant consent process.
